Quality decking restoration. Painting keeps the decking looking clean, treating the wood keeps the decking from rotting and becoming very slippery.

Decking's take a lot of maintenance when it comes to keeping them safe and looking nice.

Every few years they need to be covered in either an oil, stain or paint. 

all three of these options have benefits and negatives.

1. Firstly the oil protects the decking and keeps it from rotting and being slippery. However, the colour it is on the tin doesn't always look the same on the decking.

2. That is why some people opt for a stain. The Stain looks nice but doesn't offer deep protection to the wood.

3. The final option is to paint the decking which once again looks good but only offers a small amount of protection for the wood.

Before any of these steps are done. The decking should be pressure washed to remove the old layers of protectant and clean the surface of any dirt and debris to allow for a smooth finish.
